Fastest access

Replace the Lock Screen camera button

On iOS 16 and later you can launch OneLens directly from the Lock Screen camera button — no unlocking required.

  1. 1Touch and hold your Lock Screen, then tap Customize.
  2. 2Tap the camera button in the bottom corner.
  3. 3Choose OneLens from the list of available camera apps.
  4. 4Now swiping up from the camera button on your Lock Screen launches OneLens instead of the default Camera.
iPhone 15 Pro and later

Launch OneLens with the Action Button

Configure the Action Button to open OneLens instantly for the quickest possible capture.

  1. 1Open Settings → Action Button (iPhone 15 Pro and later).
  2. 2Swipe to the Shortcut option.
  3. 3Choose a shortcut that opens OneLens, or select OneLens directly.
  4. 4A single press of the Action Button now launches OneLens, ready to capture.

Why OneLens needs cloud permissions

When you connect OneDrive or Google Drive, you'll see requests to access files, maintain access, and view your basic profile. This is the minimum level of access these cloud services allow for an app that uploads files to a specific folder.

OneLens uses these permissions only to upload your photos and videos to your chosen folder and to display them in the in-app gallery. We can't access any other files in your cloud storage, and we never store your data on our servers. Your media stays exclusively in your cloud account.
